Raffaella Previtera joined Metroconsult as a Trademark Attorney in 2013.
Her main areas of expertise include trademarks, design, and copyright. Raffaella provides legal advice on Intellectual Property matters to the firm’s national and international clients operating in various industries.
In particular, she prepares trademark opinions and provides an in-depth analysis of trademark portfolios. She also offers advice on trademark filing and renewal services. She has extensive experience in prosecution activities, opposition procedures, and nullity actions. She also negotiates extra-judicial coexistence agreements with the aim of finding the most appropriate solution in terms of risks, costs, and results.
Raffaella is also a Mediator in Civil and Commercial Disputes.
Education and professional experiences
Before joining Metroconsult, Raffaella worked as an IP attorney-at-law for an important law firm, gaining significant experience in the field of Intellectual Property both judicial and extra-judicial; in particular, she dealt with trademarks, design, copyright, patents, parallel imports and unfair competition. She has provided consultancy activities developing anti-counterfeiting strategies which include customs, civil and criminal actions.
Raffaella has a degree from the University of Pavia. She qualified as an attorney-at-law before the Bar of Turin in 2005.
She is a member of numerous IP Associations including INTA (International Trademark Association), LES (Licensing Executives Society) and AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
She is fluent in English and French.
