Since 2011, Mirco Bianco has been working as an Intellectual Property professional at Metroconsult.

He is a European Patent Office (EPO), European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) accredited representative, primarily advising on patent matters in the fields of electronics, information technology, and telecommunications. He also specializes in the evaluation of Standard-Essential Patents (SEPs) for patent pools relating to Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 technologies.

He also handles trademark and industrial design matters.

He is registered with the Register of Court-Appointed Technical Experts of the Court of Genoa.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Genoa and is a registered member of the Association of Engineers of Genoa. He also holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

He is a member of several professional associations, including AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), LES (Licensing Executives Society), and EPI (European Patent Institute).

He is the author of several scientific and technical publications, is fluent in English, and has a basic knowledge of German.
